L-Cysteine . HCl.............0.3 g
Distilled water..............1.0 L
Add components through calcium chloride to distilled water. Heat to boiling and cool in an atmosphere of 100% CO2. Add sodium bicarbonate and cysteine and equilibrate under the same gas phase for 5-10 minutes. Dispense anaerobically under the same gas phase. Autoclave at 121C for 15 minutes. Final pH 6.7 - 6.8.
