Agar (if needed)..................20.0 g
Distilled water..................900.0 ml
Prepare and sterilize separately each of the following stock solutions and add to the basal medium as indicated below to avoid precipitation.
Make final volume to 1.0 L.
Stock Solutions:
0.05 M CaCl2 .......................4.0 ml
0.4 M MgSO4 . 7H2O .................2.5 ml
0.25 M Na2HPO4 .....................8.0 ml
0.25 M KH2PO4 .....................32.0 ml
pH should be 6.5.
Autoclave 25 minutes at 121C.
