Prepare Brain Heart Infusion (BD 237500) according to manufacturer’s instructions and add 12 g agar, 5 g Yeast Extract BD 212750), 100 g sucrose, 100 ml of horse serum, and 1 g penicillin. Aseptically add the horse serum, sucrose, and penicillin to cooled basal medium.
