支原体本身在自然界分布是非常广的,有很多动物、植物和昆虫都携带支原体。人感染了之后,人本身也是具有传染性的,也可以传给其他的人。现在引起人发病的支原体有六种,有肺炎支原体、人型支原体、生殖道支原体、隐匿支原体、发酵支原体和解脲支原体。
肺炎支原体和发酵支原体主要引起人的上呼吸道或者下呼吸道感染,主要引起咽炎、气管炎、支气管炎或者肺炎,传播的途径主要通过呼吸道的飞沫传播,发酵支原体主要通过唾液来传播。其他的支原体主要引起的是泌尿生殖道的感染,传播的途径主要是性传播,也可以理解为由这些病原引起的泌尿生殖道的感染是一种性病,主要表现为尿道炎、附睾炎或者子宫炎、盆腔炎、卵巢炎,这一类的炎症主要通过性接触传播。PG18 发酵支原体
