ATCC Medium 1065 (see below) with 50.0 mcg/ml kanamycin Prepare a filter-sterilized solution of kanamycin and aseptically add enough of it to the sterile basal medium to achieve the stated concentration.

ATCC Medium 1065: Tryptone (BD 211705)........10.0 g

Yeast Extract (BD 212750)....5.0 g

NaCl........................10.0 g

Distilled water..............1.0 L

Autoclave at 121C for 15 minutes.
