Solution A:

MgSO4 . 7H2O .......................0.492 g
CaSO4 . 2H2O .......................0.344 g
KH2PO4 .............................0.014 g
Trace Elements (see below)........10.0 ml
Glucose...........................10.0 g
Yeast extract......................0.2 g
Resazurin..........................1.0 mg
Distilled water..................490.0 ml
Filter-sterilize Solution A immediately after preparation.
Solution B:
Sulfur............................10.0 g
Distilled water..................450.0 ml
Autoclave at 100C for 30 minutes on 3 consecutive days.
Solution C:
Na2S . 9H2O ......................850.0 mg
Distilled water...................50.0 ml
Autoclave at 121C for 15 minutes. Combine Solutions A, B and C aseptically and equilibrate in an atmosphere of 97% N2, 3% H2.
Adjust medium for a final pH 4.8-5.6 with H2SO4. Store completed medium under 97% N2, 3% H2.
