Agar, Noble (BD 214230).................10.5 g
Distilled water........................800.0 ml
Adjust medium to pH 5.5 with HCl before adding agar. Autoclave at 121C for 15 minutes. Cool to room temperature and aseptically add the following filter-sterilized components:
Horse serum............................200.0 ml
Yeast Extract Solution (GIBCO 18180)...100.0 ml
Isovitalex Enrichment (BD 211876)........5.0 ml
Urea.....................................1.0 g
L-Cysteine . HCl.........................0.1 g
