性状特征
高氏合成1号琼脂：气丝灰紫色。基丝李黑色(酸性时变红 )。无可溶色素。甘油天冬素琼脂(ISP)、无机盐淀粉琼脂 (ISP)、酵母精麦芽精琼脂(ISP)、燕麦粉琼脂(ISP)：气丝白色至灰黄粉色。基丝反面在第三种培养基上浅褐色至红褐色，在其余三种培养基上灰黄色、红灰色、红绛红色或暗红绛红色，对pH不敏感或加0.05-NHCl，轻度变色。可溶色素无或迹量淡褐色。高氏有机2号琼脂：气丝粉白色。基丝李黑色。可溶色素无或浅褐色。马铃薯块：气丝浅灰色。基丝褐色或李黑色。可溶色素褐色或李黑色。明胶液化缓慢。牛奶胨化。淀粉水解。纤维素上不生长。硝酸盐不还原。不产生类黑色素、酪氨酸酶和H2S。利用 D-葡萄糖、L-阿拉伯糖、D-木糖、D-果糖、鼠李糖、棉子糖、肌醇、D-甘露醇；对蔗糖利用报道分歧。只对枯草杆菌和霉状杆菌有作用。
