甘油天冬素琼脂(ISP)、无机盐淀粉琼脂(ISP)、酵母精麦芽精琼脂(ISP)、燕麦粉琼脂(ISP):气丝灰色:浅橄榄灰色至暗灰色、褐灰色。基丝反面无鉴别色素:在第三种培养基上橄榄褐色至暗褐色,在其余三种培养基上灰绿黄色、浅灰橄榄色至浅橄榄褐色。可溶色素无或迹量黄绿色。不产生类黑色素、酪氨酸酶和H2S。利用D-葡萄糖、L-阿拉伯糖、D-木糖、D-果糖、蔗糖;不利用鼠李糖、棉子糖、肌醇、D-甘露醇。产生四环素(tetracycline)及其衍生抗生素,抑制革兰氏阳性和阴性细菌、分枝杆菌。
