ATCC medium: 594 Brain heart infusion with 5% inactivated rabbit serum 
Prepare Brain Heart Infusion (BD 237500) per manufacturer’s 
instructions. Autoclave the commercial medium and distilled deionized 
water for 15 minutes at 121C. Filter-sterilize the rabbit serum.
