ATCC medium: 2217 Potato dextrose agar, half-strength
Diced potatoes...................300.0 g
Dextrose..........................10.0 g
Agar..............................15.0 g
Distilled deionized water to.......1.0 L
Boil finely diced potatoes in 500 ml of water for 1 hour.
Filter through cheesecloth to remove potato and large particulates.
Add 250 ml of the resulting potato infusion to 750 ml of water.
Add agar and bring to a boil. Add dextrose. Stir to dissolve dextrose.
Autoclave at 121C for 15 minutes.
