How to read the following data (Example)
Name:
Haloferax gibbonsii Juez et al. 1986
DSM No.:
112399
Strain designation:
LR2-5
Isolated from:
Salt lake water sample (25% salt) containing white sediment
Country:
Senegal
Lake Retba
Nagoya Protocol Restrictions:
There are NO known Nagoya Protocol restrictions for this strain.
Genbank accession numbers:
16S rRNA gene: MG462740
complete genome, chromosome: CP063205
plasmid pHGLR1: CP063206
plasmid pHGLR2: CP063207
plasmid pHGLR3: CP063208
complete genome: PRJNA656928
Cultivation conditions:
Medium 1748 , 37°C
The shortest doubling time of 3.5 hours was achieved when the strain was aerobically grown in rich YPC medium with a total salt concentration of 18% (wt/vol)at 42 °C (Figure S1). The doubling time of cells grown at 37 °C is about 4.5 hours in MGM medium and 6.5 hours in CA medium. Cultures grown at 37 °C exhibit prolonged lag-phases compared to cells grown at higher temperatures whereas cultures grown at 45 °C reach lower final optical densities. (Tittes et al. 2020)
