Comments : Good immunogen in rabbit, no 2-way cross SN or HI with 37 pro. Related to strain Dugan by SN and HAI. HA at low titer with rat RBC. No HA with rhesus monkey or human O RBC. Stable at -20^C. Adeno 40 and 41 do not replicate well in HEK or MRC-5 cells. See Brown et al.(1984. J. Clinical Micro 20:334-338) for restriction map of adeno 41.
